Doom Cycle covers the raddest artists in and around the chopper scene. It’s run by Tim Granda, an animator out of Michigan. Tim attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and has worked and recorded for CBGB/OMFUG. He was one of the Greasy Dozen, and his bike “Devotchka” was featured in the January ’14 issue of The Horse Magazine.
“If I can turn a few people on to an artist and their work – particularly those who don’t typically follow art – then that would be awesome. Artists typically don’t get that much recognition, but to me they’re rock stars. They’re the soul of our scene.”
When asked to sum up Doom Cycle, he said “It’s an art fanzine for bikers; only it’s never been photocopied and stapled together.” – Tim Granda
