Nik Gernert’s ‘Him and Her’

November 17, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Artist Nik Gernert just released some A4 prints of his latest piece ‘Him and Her’. His work is just plain freaky, and you can spot his work from across the room. The dude’s got such a unique style! Fun, weird, and everything looks like it has fur stuck to it. My kinda stuff!

Here’s some more cool stuff in his shop that you can grab too:

David Gant

October 24, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge It’s always a trip to discover a new artist that you really dig. Someone who’s work ignites your brain and sends shock waves through out your system. You could be having the shittiest of days, and then in an instant, all is right as rain. Such was the case when I stumbled upon the work of artist David Gant while reading a post by artist Mike Mastrangelo’s on his Instagram page.

Word is, Gant also has an upcoming cover in the works for a future issue of Show Class Magazine, which isn’t much of a surprise. The dudes at Show Class have an uncanny ability to spot talent, and Gant has his fair share of it. Check out a few examples of his work below, stop by his site to see more, and keep your eyes peeled here on Doom Cycle for the latest news on artist David Gant.

Wargasser’s Michael Desmond

October 15, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge The Wargasser Speedshop is packed with talent. The name you often hear associated with the shop is Nick Miserendino, who was one of the 25 invited builders at Born Free 6 this year. But a name you don’t hear often enough is that of Michael Desmond. He’s the man in their art department, and damn can this dude paint! His use of light and color ignite the canvas, giving his images an unearthly quality that must have been the result of a far off fevered dream. Check out these killer pieces below which are featured on the Wargasser site, and give him a follow on Instagram to see more of the rad stuff he’s working on.

Hal Robinson – Blowin’ Minds

October 14, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Are Hal Robinson’s drawings of bikes just about the raddest ever? Hell yea! When Hal walked the Earth, he ruled the pages of mags like Cycletoons, Cartoons, Iron Horse, In The Wind, and of course Easy Rider. Hal’s influence is still inspiring and blowing minds today.
