“Texas Gore” By Tallboy and Burney

January 10, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Swamp Wizard artists Tallboy and Burney have entered the second week of their joint art show at Bird’s Barber Shop, located on East 6th Street in Austin, Texas. The show lasts through the end of January, so if you’re in the area make sure you swing on by.

One of the featured pieces is a collaboration between the two called “Texas Gore“, and just this evening it was announced that they’ve made some limited edition screen prints available. They’re going to sell out quick so don’t sit around on your ass trying to figure out if you’re worthy enough to own such a rad piece.  You already got screwed out of seeing The Sword because you didn’t order tickets the moment they went on sale, so don’t fuck this up too (oh wait, that was me – fuck)!

Black ink on 16″ X 16″ of heavy white speckle tone paper.

Signed and numbered limited edition of 69!

Tallboy’s “The Wizard”

January 10, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge “Lure women into your bedroom with this wild glowing wizard print!”

That’s the word about Tallboy‘s new signed and numbered print “The Wizard”, and there’s no reason to fucking doubt it. Women love wizards, and if they see one that glows you know it’s going to be one of those hot nights.  If you remember checking this piece out in 2012, then you better jump to it and get your order in before they’re all sold out. Tallboy gave the ol’ wizard new life as a four color screen print on heavy blotter paper (perforations not included at this time).

“Night Glo White”, “Night Glo Blue”, “Night Glo Yellow”, and Black inks glow bright as hell when the lights go out, so make sure your chick’s around with plenty of time to spare.

Dimensions are 12″ x 12″, which happens to be the exact size of a Black Sabbath LP.

Printed in Austin, TX at Sanctuary, and limited to just 69 prints. Signed and numbered by Tallboy.

Phil Guy’s “Hard Times Brown” and “Alfred of Ages”

January 4, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Artist Phil Guy has just released a pair of new prints you’re gonna want to jump on: “Hard Times Brown” and “Alfred of Ages”. The first one is an 8″x6″ and the second one is an 8″x9.5″. Both are Riso printed,  signed by Phil, and each one is slightly different than the rest. What that means is yours will feature unique characteristics that your buddy’s won’t, making it completely unique.

They’re each printed in the USA on French card stock by Steady Co. At only five bucks a piece, you better act quick!

DC-tiny-wedge Artist Adi Gilbert has just released “Throttle”, a rad new shirt that’s making it’s debut on his Folklore brand! You may remember this piece from an article I wrote about Adi earlier in the year, and I’m really stoked to finally see it hitting his store. The shirt is made of  heavyweight 100% cotton, and features such killer details like the sewn on hem label and printed inner label. Check ’em out below!

Please Help Find Aubrey Learner’s Stolen Art!

December 28, 2013 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge On Christmas day, some scumbag(s) broke into artist Aubrey Learner‘s storage unit at the Public Storage on S Van Ness in San Francisco and made off with over three years of her artwork. Aubrey and her beau Phil Guy have set up a blog with pictures of some of the stolen work which you can find here: The Universe Hates Aubrey. This post contains all the pictures they’ve uploaded so far, but make sure to check in on their blog for any additional updates.

From what I’ve heard, someone on Instagram saw a fucked up kid selling artwork similar to Aubrey’s outside of the mall on Market Street. If you’re in the area please keep your eyes peeled! Contact Aubrey at aubreylearner@gmail.com with any info you might have.
