Rise of the Doom Cycle tees!

March 24, 2015 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Here’s the full HD Choptoon to get you acquainted with the first pair of shirts ever offered by Doom Cycle! The first half is a riff on the design “Ritual“ by artist Matt Wilkins, while the second  takes on “Astronauta“ by artist Luis Mayer. After you’ve seen the film, buy some shirts! The sales from these two will allow me to keep bringin’ ya badass designs by some of the raddest artists walkin’ the Earth.

I’d like to extend a HUGE thanks to Ripple Music for the use of the killer track by the band Mos Generator! Head on over to Ripple to grab their album “Nomads“, and stuff your cart with albums by all the other rad bands on their label. You can swing by Ripple‘s Bandcamp page to check out all the bands before ya buy. Killer stuff!

Ed Ryan the “Envelope King”

November 25, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Artist Ed Ryan has been called “The Envelope King” ’cause most of his rad art is drawn on the front of an envelope. For years, they’ve been published in the mail section of countless biker mags, but if you wanted to own an Ed Ryan original yourself, you were shit outta luck. That is, unless you opened your mailbox and were shocked to find a hand-drawn envelope from Ryan himself. He was known to surprise people he dug with one-off pieces of art, but never took commissions… until now!

If you’d like your bike drawn up by the man himself, or would like to surprise your husband, wife, or bud with a picture of them and their bike, drop Ed an email at: EddyRyanArt@hotmail.co.uk

Scoot Malone

November 18, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Artist Scoot Malone from Sacred Arts Co. in Nashville can lay down ink and paint with the best of ’em. If you dig Hal Robinson’s work, check out the lines on his piece “Choppers Want You Dead”. Scoot’s got that flow we all love Hal for, but he pulls it off without stepping on any toes. Scoot also has a knack for the ladies. Have you seen his chicks yet? Damn! Such attitude and expression coming off that brush, and you know his babes don’t take shit from nobody!

Scoot also lays down some rad pin-striping and his signs are super classy, so if you’re looking to add some respectability to your ride or shop, Scoot’s got your ass covered.

Check him out on Facebook or Instagram.

Mike Mastrangelo Interview – Video Tease!

June 9, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Check out the new video tease for the interview with artist Mike Mastrangelo, which debuts this Friday! Mike’s work with Show Class Magazine and Heavy Clothing has been such a killer match-up so far (have you seen the epic Manson Heavy head? Fuck!), and it sounds like we’ll be seeing a lot more insane stuff in the future. His work kicks lots of ass, and it oozes gallons of soul. So turn up your speakers and prepare for a trip into the mind of a master: Mike Mastrangelo!

The track featured in the video is by the killer doom band Monolord, and it’s called “Empress Rising”. They appear courtesy of RidingEasy Records.

The version heard here was edited by me to fit the video (from 12 minutes down to about 50 seconds). You can grab the original on sweet vinyl from RidingEasy Records or get it digitally on iTunes.
