1968 Dodge A-100 Van by Granda

December 6, 2013 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Back when I had my ‘68 Dodge A-100, I drew up these pictures in Illustrator to serve as a guide for the changes I had in store for her. The colors paid tribute to one of the most iconic paint schemes ever: the orange and pale blue Gulf livery, which made it’s debut just a year before this van rolled off the assembly line. Though the livery appeared first on a Ford GT40, for me it will always be remembered best on the curvy Porsche 917 Steve McQueen drove in his film Le Mans.
