Two Rad Shows This Weekend!

April 2, 2014 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge Whether you’re in Columbus or London this weekend, you have two really rad shows to check out!

The first is Tanks For The Good Times – Preview Show, which is a wild gas tank art show happening this Saturday at 6pm over at the Milk Bar Boutique (765 Unit A North High Street., Columbus, Ohio). It sounds like they’ve had so many contributors this time around that they’ve had to split it into two events: the Milkbar will be featuring a preview of the full show, which will be going down this year at Pinned on May 17th. The preview show is free, and there’s an after-party at Kobo (2590 N High St, Columbus, OH) for only $5 bucks. In addition to the full show at Pinned, expect Bikes + Bands + Booze +Babes so you ain’t gonna wanna miss it!

The second is The Colour Series, presented by Skull&Heart at Brick Lane Gallery Annexe 93-95 Sclater St. E1 6HR. It runs from today the 2nd, through the 7th, from 10am to 6pm. Expect to see a ton of killer screenprints from a slew of talented folks, including Horsebites, Tom J Newell, and Palehorse! If you can make it there on the 3rd between 5-8:30pm,  Newell is going to be one of the dudes doing some live drawing during the opening party!
