The Requiem Ride

December 6, 2013 by Tim Granda

DC-tiny-wedge For his senior project at NY’s Pratt Institute, artist Cal Piorkowski put together this computer animated short called The Requiem Ride. The idea for the film began eight years ago, and it’s taken him over two years to complete it. At one point he even held a contest for one lucky winner to have their bike modeled in 3D, which he then featured in the film. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of Cal’s work up on the big screen in the future. Good luck man!

If you’d like a copy on DVD, he’ll mail you one for free, but please send the dude the $5 donation he’s asking (or more if you can) to cover the cost of materials and shipping. In addition to the film, you’ll also get some cool behind the scene extras!
